Vegetables can feel like something children are forced to eat. Leaf by Leaf changes that by giving kids ownership over the process. Through planting, decorating, caring, and harvesting, healthy eating becomes something they helped to create.
Hands-on planting activities where children grow their own greens and learn about food, health, and the environment.
A story that helps children understand food through curiosity, choice, and emotional connection.
Planting kits that give children the tools to grow, care for, and explore healthy foods wherever they are.
Our first international collaboration connected students in Los Angeles with children in Humahuaca, Argentina, a rural community where access to diverse fresh vegetables can be limited. Through virtual lessons, drawings, and planting spinach, we gave students the opportunity to explore food, sustainability, and the joy of growing something for themselves.
This experience showed that Leaf by Leaf is more than a local workshop program, but a way to connect children across communities through curiousity, care, and the food they grow.
